A. Cancellation Policy
Introduction
Consumers have a right of cancellation as outlined below. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are primarily outside their trade, business, or professional activities.
Right of Cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (apra-norm Elektromechanik GmbH, Bei der untersten Mühle 5, 54552 Mehren, Germany, Tel.: +49 6592 204-0, Email: vertrieb@apra-lean.de) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached sample cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.
Consequences of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the date on which we receive your notification of cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you incur any fees as a result of this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of returning the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The direct costs of return for goods that cannot normally be returned by post (freight goods) are estimated as follows: for each such item, approximately EUR 1 - EUR 74.00 (1-way), EUR 2 - EUR 146.00 (1-way), EUR 3 - EUR 184.00 (1-way), EUR 4 - EUR 229.00 (1-way), EUR 5 - EUR 278.00 (1-way), EUR 6 - EUR 326.00 (1-way).
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that was not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
General Information
1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Return the goods in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
