The apra-lean brand was founded in 2021 as a new product division of apra-norm Elektromechanik GmbH. As part of the apra group, which has specialized in the manufacture of housings and cabinets made of sheet metal and plastic for over 55 years, we bring many years of experience in production.

The starting signal for the apra-lean process stations product division came from the need to make our own production processes more efficient and flexible. And at the same time, like many other companies, we were facing growing challenges. A shortage of skilled workers and increasing price pressure - as well as our requirement to continue to deliver perfect quality - made an optimization of internal production processes unavoidable.

As part of the introduction of 5S and Lean Management , the first products were created for better storage and provision of tools and assembly materials. These previous process stations led to initial increases in efficiency, but there was still a lack of flexibility. Due to the wide variety of products and materials in the apra group, a modular system was required that could be quickly adapted to changing requirements in production and assembly.

This need led to the development of our current 5S process station – a solution that ensures both efficiency and flexibility in modern production environments.
